Terms of Use

OpenProof is a research discussion, review, and verification platform. Content on OpenProof is not medical, legal, regulatory, engineering, financial, or safety advice.

Users are responsible for the content they submit, including claims, evidence, papers, comments, AI-use disclosures, cosigns, reviews, and challenges. Users must not submit fraudulent data, malicious files, harassment, spam, illegal content, or dangerous real-world instructions that bypass safety review.

Scientific and Safety Boundary

OpenProof may discuss high-stakes scientific claims, but discussion does not authorize deployment or use. Medical, biological, chemical, engineering, human-subject, and other regulated applications may require clinical trials, ethics review, institutional approval, government authorization, or other external oversight.

Privacy Policy

OpenProof accounts may store usernames, email addresses, profile information, submitted content, votes, reviews, comments, uploaded files, and interaction history. Public submissions may be visible to other users and may be indexed if the site is publicly deployed.

Uploaded research content and public review activity should be treated as public by default. OpenProof does not currently provide private messaging, payment processing, or advertising trackers.

Moderation

OpenProof may remove or restrict content that is abusive, fraudulent, unsafe, illegal, spam, or submitted in bad faith. Challenges and disagreement are welcome when they are specific, evidence-oriented, and respectful.

Changes

These policies may be updated as OpenProof adds new features, governance processes, or legal requirements. Questions can be sent to dradenaiyesanmi@gmail.com.
